Howdy Sour Beer Fans! Funky and sour beers have been gaining momentum for quite some time now. But for all the barrel aged sours and delicious Brettanomyces laced saisons: where have all the Berliner Weisses gone? To my surprise there are less than twenty widely available American commercial examples of this classic style, such as The Bruery’s Hottenroth, White Birch’s Berliner Weisse and Nodding Head’s Berliner Weisse.
